The present anthology of English-language texts on history has been compiled with the financial support of the European Social Fund project "Innovation of Academic English Courses for the Humanities". It aims to help students at the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc to develop their skills in practising English terminology related to their area of study, while also serving as a valuable source of subject-specific information.
