The goal of this dissertation thesis is to design and manufacture a combined alarmdetector, used for the protection of the glass planes. The main active elements of thedetector are the accelerometer for the force calculation of the impact, and the airquality sensor used for the detection of the glass integrity. The concept of the detectormeets the current standardization which also reaches the highest security grade. Theprototype of the detector is divided into two parts each implemented into the windowframe. The outcome of this thesis is the prototype with the technical documentationwhich can be used for the certified testing and the following placing on the market.The detector has a common communication interface for communication with theControl and Indicating Equipment via the RS-485.
